Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A dynamic opportunity is available for a Clinical Pharmacist to support patient care at a specialized rehabilitation hospital focused on TPN and IV antibiotic therapies. This role requires a pharmacist who thrives in a setting with complex medication management, primarily supporting patients undergoing extensive rehab treatments.

Position Highlights:

  • Location: Elkhorn, NE (with two additional openings in Omaha, NE)
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM; rotating weekends and Saturdays required
  • Setting: Rehabilitation hospital without ER or OB services, focusing exclusively on TPNs and IV antibiotics
  • System Experience: Familiarity with Altera Sunrise is preferred; training will be provided
  • Type: Contract to hire, providing an opportunity to transition to a permanent role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and verify TPN formulations and IV antibiotic regimens to ensure safe, effective patient-specific therapy
  • Collaborate closely with healthcare teams on the rehabilitation unit
  • Quickly adapt and contribute to patient care requirements in a fast-paced rehab environment

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Nebraska Pharmacist License
  • Experience or strong interest in clinical pharmacy within rehabilitation or complex medication settings
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a specialized care environment
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to the Altera Sunrise system
