Job Description
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) supporting students in the eastern part of the county, beginning January 4. This full-time role allows you to make a direct impact on the educational experience of children by delivering high-quality speech-language services within school settings.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain
- Experience in school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to address a diverse caseload and individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Professionalism and adaptability for fast-paced educational environments
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy for students as outlined in IEPs
- Conduct evaluations, write assessment reports, and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings
- Develop targeted treatment plans and monitor progress
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers to foster student growth
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing staff development
