Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes and special education procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students K-12
  • Design and deliver individualized and group therapy sessions tailored to student goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to support student progress
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing expertise and thoughtful recommendations
  • Keep thorough, accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal requirements
