Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field.
• Active Illinois Professional Educator License with the required endorsement(s) for Technology/General Education.
• Demonstrated experience in curriculum design, lesson planning, and classroom instruction at the middle school level.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Passion for teaching and empowering students with technology, digital citizenship, and 21st-century skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, grade-appropriate technology instruction for 7th and 8th grade students in a classroom setting.
• Develop and implement effective lesson plans that align with state standards and prepare students for future educational success.
• Foster an inclusive, positive classroom environment that encourages student curiosity, collaboration, and critical thinking.
• Integrate current digital tools and applications to enhance student learning outcomes.
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support continuous growth.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events as required.
