Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students from kindergarten through age 22 as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. With a start date as soon as possible, this position offers 36 hours per week and the chance to make a meaningful impact for a caseload of 20 students. Key Qualifications:
- Active BCBA certification required
- Previous experience in therapeutic day school environments is highly desirable
- Skilled in the development of Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP)
- Familiarity with QBS Safety Care practices is a distinct asset
- Demonstrated ability to work with students exhibiting severe behaviors
- Capable of supervising and supporting one Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
- Able to physically manage the demands of the job, including lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lbs
Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, hands-on behavioral support and strategies within classrooms
- Collaborate weekly with classroom teachers to address behavioral needs and implement individual plans
- Write FBAs/BIPs tailored to student profiles and needs
- Supervise and mentor one RBT, ensuring high-quality intervention delivery
- Participate in weekly team meetings and coordinate with teaching and administrative staff
- Complete any additional duties as assigned by the school principal
