Make a meaningful impact as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) supporting students from kindergarten through age 22. This contract opportunity offers 36 hours per week and the chance to work with a caseload of approximately 20 students. Your expertise will be valued as you collaborate with classroom teachers, lead behavioral interventions, and contribute to a positive educational environment.

What sets a candidate apart?

  • Experience in therapeutic day school settings
  • Familiarity with QBS Safety Care
  • Background in addressing and managing severe behaviors
  • Physical ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs

Desired qualifications and experience:

  • Current BCBA certification is required
  • Experience working with diverse student populations (kinder–age 22)
  • Proven skills in conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Comfortable supervising and mentoring one Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff and administrators

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on behavioral support within classrooms
  • Meet weekly with classroom teachers to discuss student needs and strategies
  • Write and implement individualized FBA and BIP documents
  • Supervise and support an RBT in daily activities and interventions
  • Assist with additional duties as assigned by the school principal
