Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) | Bolingbrook, Illinois

Step into a valued role where your expertise as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will directly benefit students from kindergarten through age 22. In this contract position, you'll impact a diverse caseload of 20 students, supporting their behavioral and educational development within a collaborative educational setting.

This opportunity involves working 36 hours per week and requires immediate availability. You'll be a vital resource for classroom teachers, providing hands-on behavioral support and attending weekly team meetings. In this role, you will serve as a leader—writing Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP), supervising a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), and assisting with other duties as requested by the school principal.

Ideal candidates bring specialized experience from therapeutic day schools, possess robust knowledge of QBS Safety Care, and have a background in managing severe behavioral challenges. The ability to safely push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs. is essential to meet student needs.

Key Qualifications & Expertise:

• Active BCBA certification
• Prior work in school-based settings; experience with severe behavior is highly valued
• Knowledge of FBAs, BIPs, and providing in-classroom behavioral support
• Familiarity with QBS Safety Care procedures
• Effective communication for multidisciplinary teamwork, including weekly meetings
• Able to supervise and mentor an RBT
• Physical capability to assist as needed (push, pull, lift up to 50 lbs.)
• Experience in therapeutic day schools is a significant plus
