Job Description
Make a positive impact by supporting young learners as a full-time Occupational Therapist working onsite with children from birth to age five. What we’re seeking:
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) licensure in Oregon
- Experience providing OT services in an educational, early intervention, or pediatric setting
- Strong understanding of developmental milestones for infants and preschool-aged children
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, caregivers, and other specialists
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Flexibility to adapt interventions to individual needs and diverse cultural backgrounds
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to children ages birth through five
- Assess students’ motor, sensory, and functional abilities to develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate closely with early childhood educators and families to promote optimal outcomes
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Participate in IFSP/IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teaming
- Offer staff training and support as part of a cohesive onsite educational environment
- Maintain compliance with state and federal special education guidelines
This full-time, onsite position offers a rewarding setting to foster growth and independence in young learners at a vital stage in their development. Hourly compensation ranges from $42 to $55, depending on experience and credentials.
