Make a meaningful impact supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school-based contract opportunity near Indianapolis, IN. In this role, you will primarily work at one elementary setting while assisting at another site as needed, providing vital support for a caseload of 51 students. The schedule follows standard school hours, typically 8:10 am to 4:10 pm, for a total of 37.5 hours each week.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Relevant experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
  • Knowledge of the unique needs of elementary-aged students
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff
  • Ability to conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and provide direct therapy

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to elementary students according to IEPs
  • Work with students individually and in small groups targeting their specific communication goals
  • Manage and prioritize a caseload of 51 students, traveling to a secondary site as necessary
  • Complete evaluations, maintain accurate records, and document progress
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to foster student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and team discussions regarding student progress and interventions
