Experience the fulfillment of supporting elementary-aged learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist! This contract role will primarily focus on one welcoming elementary site, with opportunities to lend your expertise occasionally at a nearby location. You’ll be part of a vibrant school community, providing services to a manageable caseload of 51 students, helping them overcome communication barriers and thrive academically and socially.
Your schedule runs from 8:10 a.m. to 4:10 p.m. each day, for a total of 37.5 hours a week—a structure that supports work-life balance while allowing you to make a meaningful difference.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure and certification for school-based SLP practice
- Clinical experience working with elementary-aged students in educational settings preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently, adapt to new environments, and collaborate with diverse school teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech/language therapy to students across grades at the primary elementary site, with occasional coverage at a secondary site as needed
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in accordance with federal and state regulations
- Communicate progress and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Screen, assess, and document communication disorders, maintaining accurate records
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute creative solutions for student support
