Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Kent, WA

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field required
• Valid state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (CFY welcome)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
• Experience working with pediatric populations, especially within a school setting
• Strong understanding of teletherapy platforms and techniques a plus
• Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) are encouraged to apply for appropriate roles
• Ability to work well as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students individually or in small groups
• Conduct assessments to determine students’ needs and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals regarding student progress
• Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by school and district policies
• Participate in IEP meetings, consultations, and professional development activities
• Adapt intervention strategies to meet teletherapy and in-person program needs
