Travel Hospital Pediatric Pharmacist | Helotes, Texas

This opportunity is for a skilled pharmacist with pediatric and inpatient experience to provide night shift coverage at a children’s hospital. The position starts ASAP and offers a 6-month travel assignment in Helotes, TX, ideal for pharmacists holding a Texas license with expertise in EPIC and Pyxis systems.

Responsibilities include managing inpatient medication dispensing, supporting pediatric patient care, and ensuring accuracy and safety during night shifts. You will work closely with the healthcare team in an environment specializing in pediatric care, assisting with medication management and pharmacy operations during critical overnight hours.

Schedule/Hours:

• Night shift: 8:00 PM – 6:30 AM
• 7 days on / 7 days off rotation
• Potential transition to day shift later in the assignment to cover FMLA from mid-2024 through January 2027

Desired Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist in Texas
• Experience working with EPIC electronic health records
• Proficiency with Pyxis medication dispensing systems
• Strong background in inpatient pharmacy settings
• Pediatric pharmacy experience preferred
