Travel Hospital Oncology Pharmacist - Gold Beach, Oregon
Job Description
An established healthcare network is seeking an experienced Oncology Pharmacist for a 26-week travel assignment at a newly opened Oncology Infusion Center within a hospital setting in Gold Beach, Oregon. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment supporting chemotherapy and infusion patients.
Responsibilities include verifying medication orders, preparing and compounding chemotherapy and hazardous drugs, and working closely with oncology nurses and providers to ensure optimal patient care. The position requires familiarity with hospital pharmacy processes and infusion center protocols.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 8-hour shifts
Qualifications:
- PharmD degree required
- Active Oregon Pharmacist License (RPh)
- Current experience as an oncology pharmacist in a hospital or infusion center
- Proven expertise in chemotherapy medication preparation
- Competency in hazardous drug compounding
- Experience with EPIC electronic health records is a plus
