Make a significant impact by providing essential physical therapy services to K-12 students throughout the upcoming academic year. This in-person contract position supports students across a districtwide caseload, ensuring every child receives the care and assistance they need to thrive in their educational environment. The assignment runs from August 2026 through June 2027, with a full-time schedule of 32-37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist (required)
  • Experience or familiarity working in a school-based setting (preferred)
  • Ability to effectively manage a diverse caseload spanning grades K-12
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and families
  • Commitment to providing therapeutic interventions in person (remote work is not offered)
  • Adaptable, patient, and passionate about supporting students’ mobility and access to learning

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to develop individualized treatment plans for students
  • Deliver direct therapy services in alignment with students’ IEPs and educational goals
  • Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams to facilitate student participation in school activities
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation of services provided
  • Engage with families and provide education on therapy strategies for home use
  • Travel between school sites within the district as needed
