Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by providing essential psychological support across multiple schools for the 2026-2027 academic year. This opportunity offers the chance to work closely with K-12 learners and school teams, helping foster positive school climates and supporting the well-being of children and adolescents throughout the district.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting psychological assessments and interpreting testing results to inform educational planning
  • Collaborating with educators, administrators, and families to develop intervention strategies and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Providing direct counseling services to students, both individually and in groups
  • Consulting with teachers and staff to support the creation of safe, inclusive, and effective learning environments
  • Participating in multidisciplinary meetings, crisis response initiatives, and district-wide mental health support efforts
  • Promoting social-emotional learning and behavioral supports appropriate for a diverse, K-12 student population
  • Maintaining thorough, timely documentation in compliance with district and state policies

Preferred qualifications and experience:

  • School Psychologist certification/licensure (required or eligibility in Connecticut)
  • Experience supporting diverse K-12 caseloads
  • Strong assessment, report writing, and consultation skills
  • Collaborative and communicative approach with school staff and families
  • Committed to onsite, in-person work for the duration of the school year
  • Ability to work full time (Monday through Friday, 32-37.5 hours per week)
