Your expertise in occupational therapy will drive positive outcomes for students and the school community. This contract role is designed for professionals seeking a flexible, 20-hour workweek, with the option to structure your schedule across two or three days per week.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy (or related field) from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of three years’ experience as an occupational therapist, including at least three years in a school-based setting
  • Licensed occupational therapist with active registration through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
  • Strong knowledge of best practices for school-based OT interventions with K-8th grade students
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with students, teachers, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to students in grades K-8 across assigned campuses
  • Complete assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students' participation and engagement in their educational environment
  • Deliver both direct and consultative services, documenting progress and outcomes
  • Participate in IEP meetings, sharing clinical insights and recommendations
