Job Description
Step into a pivotal role supporting elementary students’ communication and learning needs for the 2026–2027 academic year. Seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver speech and language services to approximately 40 elementary-aged students. This is a full-time, onsite contract position requiring dedication to a consistent 40-hour workweek throughout the school year, and part-time candidates cannot be considered.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current, active Texas SLP license required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Prior experience in a school-based setting, particularly with elementary students, is preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Organized and reliable, with dependable transportation
- Ability to conduct evaluations, create IEP goals, and implement both direct and indirect services
Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve a caseload of approximately 40 students in an elementary school environment
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and provide therapy as outlined in student IEPs
- Develop, implement, and monitor appropriate IEP goals
- Collaborate with educators, special education staff, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Deliver both direct and consultative speech-language services onsite
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all documentation requirements
