Job Description

This contract opportunity begins August 17th, 2026, and extends through June 4th, 2027, offering you a chance to work closely with students and staff over the course of the school year. With a schedule of 30 hours per week across four days, you’ll be able to maintain a healthy work-life balance while utilizing your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
What We're Looking For:
- Current North Carolina SLP license (required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Recent experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation
- Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary educational team
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEPs
- Maintain progress reports and participate in IEP meetings as a key team member
- Provide direct therapy services to eligible students in both individual and group settings
- Communicate regularly with teachers, families, and support personnel to maximize student progress
