Make a difference in the lives of young learners while expanding your career as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist! This contract position serves students in grades K-4 and offers a collaborative, supportive environment for the 2026-2027 school year.
What you’ll do:
- Manage a diverse caseload of 68 students, including teacher record/case management for 27 students
- Provide targeted therapy and intervention in a dedicated speech area
- Develop and implement IEPs, monitor progress, and maintain thorough documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to maximize student success
- Work closely with an on-site SLPA and a network of 6 SLPs across the district for ongoing support
- Address mild to moderate speech and language needs, tailoring strategies to each child
- Stay current with best practices and compliance requirements for school-based therapy
- Participate in school and district meetings as needed
Requirements & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure/certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience in a school setting or working with K-4 students is preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
- Commitment to supporting children with mild to moderate needs
- Comfortable using technology for documentation and communication
