Join Our Team as an Interventional Cardiologist

We are currently looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Interventional Cardiologist to become part of our team in Muskegon, Michigan. About Our Cardiovascular Group

Our Cardiovascular Group is a regional cardiology practice consisting of a team of 10 physicians based in Muskegon. We deliver comprehensive cardiovascular care to the lakeshore and neighboring areas. This group is affiliated with our organization’s Cardiology division in West Michigan and is an integral part of the Cardiovascular Network of West Michigan, a collaborative initiative between our organization and University of Michigan Health-West.

Additionally, our Muskegon facility boasts a robust Cardio-Thoracic program that enhances our Structural Health initiatives and expanding Electrophysiology services. We emphasize a strong interdisciplinary approach to care, utilizing Advanced Practice Professionals, Registered Nurses, and Medical Assistants to support our healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage cardiac health services, including:
• Arrhythmia management
• Congestive Heart Failure Clinic
• Coumadin testing and education
• Lipid management
• Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) management
• Full-service pacemaker and implantable cardioverter defibrillator clinic with remote monitoring
• Oversee hospital management services, including:
• Electrical cardioversions
• Emergency angioplasty for heart attacks
• Implantation of pacemakers, bi-ventricular pacemakers, internal cardiac defibrillators, and loop recorders
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be board certified in a relevant clinical area or board eligible, with the expectation of obtaining board certification within five years of the start date, unless otherwise required by medical staff bylaws.
• An active Michigan medical license or the ability to secure one is required.
