This full-time, contract role offers variety and the opportunity to serve a diverse student population, working with both general and special education caseloads. Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other specialists to help each student achieve their communication goals.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Active Washington State SLP License required
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but accepting CFY applicants
  • Experience working with pediatric and/or school-based populations
  • Comfortable working with PreK-12 age groups and varying communication disorders
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy techniques and maintain detailed documentation
  • SLPA candidates with relevant credentials are encouraged to apply

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy sessions to students according to IEP goals
  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments to determine student needs
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor progress
  • Collaborate and consult with teachers, parents, and other educational staff
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations and district policies
  • Document therapy activities, progress notes, and evaluations in a timely manner
  • Participate in IEP meetings, team meetings, and professional development activities
