This full-time, contract position extends from August 24 through June 2, 2027, providing a solid and lasting role in a school-based environment near Monticello, MN. With an elementary caseload and the chance to work with some secondary students, you'll help approximately 40-50 young learners achieve their greatest potential.
Your daily routine will blend direct therapy, evaluations, and participation in important team meetings to ensure students receive coordinated and comprehensive care. The district values strong communicators and collaborative professionals invested in positive student outcomes.
Requirements:
- Current MN SLP licensure (documentation required with application)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- School-based experience or interest working with elementary and secondary student populations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Capacity to manage a moderate caseload efficiently
- Commitment to onsite (in-person) support for the duration of the assignment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations for students
- Deliver targeted therapy sessions per IEP requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families
- Attend and contribute to IEP and eligibility meetings
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation
This is a fully onsite role, with the possibility of exploring virtual solutions only if in-person candidates cannot be secured. The schedule offers 37.5 hours per week for the assignment period, giving you consistency and a rich, immersive experience within a supportive educational community.
