Job Description
Make a direct impact in K-12 education supporting students with special needs in a dynamic contract role as a Paraprofessional. Opportunities are available across a variety of classrooms, including life skills, autism, and behavioral support settings. Key Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a paraprofessional or in special education (school-based, preferred)
- Ability to provide dedicated support to students with diverse learning needs
- Strong communication skills, patience, and flexibility to adapt to changing classroom environments
- Willingness to collaborate with teachers and specialists
- Passion for making education accessible to all students
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist with academic, behavioral, and life skills instruction under the supervision of certified educators
- Support the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Foster an inclusive, encouraging, and safe classroom environment
- Provide one-on-one or small group assistance as needed
- Monitor student progress and communicate observations to teachers and staff
