This role is located just outside Hemet, CA and centers on providing essential speech and language services to a diverse caseload, primarily elementary-aged students, though occasional coverage of other age groups may be required due to multiple concurrent leaves. This rewarding position offers a stable, full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active California SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
  • Knowledge of IEP processes and special education law
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Flexibility to work with students across a range of ages

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy services
  • Assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy interventions
  • Conduct screenings and in-depth evaluations according to student needs
  • Develop, monitor, and update IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain detailed records and prepare necessary reports
  • Adapt to shifting caseloads and cover multiple leaves as needed
