Job Description
A rewarding opportunity awaits an experienced Speech-Language Pathology Assistant eager to make a lasting impact in a supportive school environment near Middleburg, FL. This full-time, school-based contract position begins August 3, 2026, and extends through May 28, 2027, with a weekly commitment of 35 hours. You’ll play a vital role in enhancing students’ communication skills as part of a collaborative educational team.
Key Qualifications:
- Current and active Florida Department of Health SLPA license (required)
- At least 2 years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant, with a minimum of 6 months in a school-based setting
- Familiarity with direct speech service delivery for children in a traditional caseload
- Proficiency in documentation and communication with multidisciplinary team members
- Ability to complete all credentialing requirements, including fingerprint clearance and application for a JLA badge
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services under the supervision of an SLP
- Support students in developing speech, language, and communication abilities
- Implement treatment plans and document session data according to school and state protocols
- Work with educators, school staff, and parents to foster a supportive learning atmosphere
- Manage a consistent caseload, likely based at a single school site
This is an on-site position and is not open to remote (VOCO) services. Candidates must be available to work each scheduled school day and engage fully in the dynamic environment offered by this educational community.
