Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Middleburg, FL

This full-time, school-based contract position begins August 3, 2026, and extends through May 28, 2027, with a weekly commitment of 35 hours. You’ll play a vital role in enhancing students’ communication skills as part of a collaborative educational team.

Key Qualifications:

• Current and active Florida Department of Health SLPA license (required)
• At least 2 years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant, with a minimum of 6 months in a school-based setting
• Familiarity with direct speech service delivery for children in a traditional caseload
• Proficiency in documentation and communication with multidisciplinary team members
• Ability to complete all credentialing requirements, including fingerprint clearance and application for a JLA badge

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy services under the supervision of an SLP
• Support students in developing speech, language, and communication abilities
• Implement treatment plans and document session data according to school and state protocols
• Work with educators, school staff, and parents to foster a supportive learning atmosphere
• Manage a consistent caseload, likely based at a single school site
