Step into a pivotal role supporting student well-being and educational success as a contracted school psychologist for the 2026 fall semester. Situated near vibrant Minneapolis, this full-time position offers the opportunity to provide vital psychological services across two maternity leave assignments within a welcoming school community.

Bring your expertise to a dynamic environment where you’ll conduct evaluations, deliver direct student support, and collaborate with teachers, families, and administrators. Your insights will shape the development and implementation of Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals, as well as Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSP) informed by Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA). Uphold high standards by ensuring work aligns with all federal and state regulations.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Minnesota school psychologist certification/licensure
  • Demonstrated experience contributing to IEP goal development and PBSPs through FBAs
  • Strong understanding of state and federal educational regulations
  • Excellent communication skills for building relationships with staff, families, and students
  • Previous experience in a school or educational setting preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to support student learning and behavior
  • Collaborate on students’ IEP development and drive PBSP initiatives using data from FBAs
  • Consult with educators and families to develop strategies for classroom and behavioral success
  • Maintain thorough records and ensure full regulatory compliance
  • Serve as a resource for school teams navigating student behavioral and mental health needs

You’ll be on-site, working standard school hours (40 hours per week), from August 31st through December 18th, 2026. Be the resource that helps students achieve their educational goals in an inclusive, supportive setting.
