Make an impact in education by providing speech-language services for the 2026-2027 school year in the Oroville and Paradise area. This rewarding contract role focuses on servicing 1-2 classrooms, supporting students’ communication growth in a collaborative, school-based setting. The position prioritizes flexibility and productivity, with a part-time schedule requiring in-person presence two days each week. Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for California
  • Previous school-based SLP experience
  • Familiarity with supervising SLPAs or interest in developing these skills
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Comfortable providing both in-person and virtual services

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations
  • Develop and implement effective IEP-driven therapy plans
  • Deliver direct services to students in alignment with educational goals
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and progress reports
  • Collaborate with teachers, colleagues, and families
  • Provide SLPA supervision and mentorship as needed
  • Support students and staff in 1-2 designated classrooms
  • Adapt to changing modalities (in-person or virtual) based on district needs
