School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Pottstown, Pennsylvania

This contract opportunity, running from August 17th through June 11th, offers you the chance to work full-time (40 hours/week) or part-time, with flexible scheduling options including hybrid arrangements. Elementary, middle, and high school placements are available, with hours tailored to each school level.

As part of this supportive team, you will focus primarily on providing direct services and conducting evaluations. The caseloads are structured not to exceed the state cap of 65 students, ensuring a manageable workload and quality attention to each student’s needs. The school has significantly expanded its autism support programs and relies extensively on AAC devices—particularly Proloquo—so experience in these areas is highly valued, though not required.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering speech-language therapy and evaluations, using IEP writer software
• Collaborating with onsite SLPs and participating in weekly support meetings
• Managing PreK-4 elementary caseloads or focusing solely on evaluations if preferred
• Supporting students in a variety of classroom settings, including new autism support rooms

Desired qualifications and experience:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathology license in Pennsylvania
• CCC or CFY candidates welcome; SLPAs are not being considered at this time
• Experience working in school settings, preferably with AAC and/or autism support
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Flexibility to work onsite, hybrid, or part-time as needed
