Physical Therapist - School Setting in Torrington, CT

Key Qualifications:

• Valid and current Physical Therapist (PT) license for Connecticut
• Experience or strong interest in pediatric or school-based physical therapy
• Comfortable managing a K-12 caseload and adapting to varying student needs
• Ability to work in person throughout the full contract duration (August 2026–June 2027)
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Commitment to fostering inclusion and supporting students’ physical development

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy services, assessments, and interventions for K-12 students across the district
• Work closely with teachers, school staff, and families to implement IEPs and support student mobility and participation
• Document progress and maintain accurate records according to school and legal guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
• Deliver creative, individualized physical therapy plans to help every student thrive
• Engage in ongoing professional development as part of a supportive educational community
