Seeking a dedicated professional fluent in both Hebrew and English to provide on-site psychological and learning support to a 6th-grade student. In this vital role, you’ll collaborate closely with school staff and families to promote the student’s well-being and foster academic and social success.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist (or eligibility for the same)
- Bilingual proficiency in Hebrew and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages
- Previous experience working as a school psychologist, ideally in K-12 settings
- Strong understanding of learning assessments, interventions, and support strategies
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to confidentiality, ethical practice, and cultural sensitivity
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to assess cognitive, social, emotional, and behavioral needs of a 6th-grade student
- Develop and implement individualized learning and psychological support plans to maximize success at school
- Provide ongoing counseling and consultative services in Hebrew and English as needed
- Offer recommendations and feedback to educators and family members to support the student’s development
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and contribute to IEP or 504 plan processes if required
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all school policies and deadlines
