Embrace an opportunity to make a meaningful impact working with early learners in a supportive educational setting. In this part-time contract role, you will provide occupational therapy services to young students, collaborating closely with educators and families to help each child reach their full potential. This position is for the 2026-2027 school year and allows for flexible scheduling, requiring either two or three days per week (0.4 or 0.6 FTE) within an Early Childhood environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
  • Experience delivering occupational therapy within schools, specifically with early childhood or special education populations preferred
  • Strong collaboration skills for multidisciplinary teamwork
  • Ability to travel within the Winnetka Preschool Consortium as needed
  • Effective communication with students, families, and staff

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for early childhood students
  • Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services, integrating interventions within classroom routines
  • Participate in creation and review of IEPs, documenting progress and adapting services as appropriate
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to promote student access and participation
  • Support the wider educational and therapeutic goals of the Preschool Consortium
