Key Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license or eligibility to practice in a school setting
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
- Previous experience providing SLP services within a school environment is highly valued
- Skilled in assessing, diagnosing, and creating intervention plans for a range of speech and language disorders
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students as outlined in individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct thorough evaluations and document progress in accordance with school or district guidelines
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to create effective support strategies
- Support students’ ability to access the curriculum and build communication skills in both individual and group settings
- Maintain detailed records and regularly communicate student progress to all stakeholders
