Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Active SLP license (California) and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
  • Prior experience in a school setting preferred, but strong clinical background considered.
  • Familiarity with IEP process and providing services for diverse student populations.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized speech and language intervention plans for students.
  • Implement therapy sessions to target articulation, language, fluency, voice, and social communication skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to integrate therapy goals with academic programs.
  • Support and monitor progress toward IEP goals, maintaining detailed and compliant records.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, provide professional recommendations, and contribute to multidisciplinary teams.
  • Stay current on best practices, documentation requirements, and evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
