Beginning August 3, 2026, and running through May 28, 2027, this full-time role offers the chance to work 35 hours per week, primarily at a single school. In this role, you’ll provide direct speech services to a traditional caseload, making a meaningful impact on students’ daily lives.

Qualified applicants will thrive in collaborative school environments and have a passion for helping children progress toward their communication goals. All speech-language pathology assistant work will be conducted on-site—remote options are not available for this position.

Qualifications:

  • Current FL DOH Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) licensure
  • Minimum 2 years of SLPA experience, including at least 6 months in a school-based setting
  • Experience supporting pediatric caseloads
  • Ability to navigate time-sensitive credentialing, including fingerprint clearance and JLA badge application (support will be provided)
  • Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language interventions to assigned students as outlined in their IEPs
  • Collaborate with supervising SLPs, teachers, and staff to foster student success
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in student support meetings
  • Engage families in the intervention process to maximize student outcomes
