Key Responsibilities
  • On-call coverage with rounding responsibilities
  • Average workload during a 24-hour call includes:
    • 4 phone consultations
    • 4 patient visits
    • 4 admissions
  • Provide call coverage for unassigned patients
  • Perform laparoscopic surgeries, including appendectomies, cholecystectomies, and hernioplasties
  • Skills in breast surgery, vascular surgery, and plastic surgery are essential
  • Conduct GI endoscopies, including upper and lower procedures, sigmoidoscopies, and colonoscopies
  • Preferred experience in pediatric surgery and trauma
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Proven skills in laparoscopic and various surgical procedures
  • Experience in GI endoscopy
  • Preferred background in pediatric surgery and trauma care
