Qualifications:

  • Valid and active Physical Therapist (PT) license for California
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
  • Ability to organize and manage a flexible caseload efficiently
  • Compassionate, student-centered approach to therapy

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative PT services to students per prescribed IEP goals
  • Complete evaluations, assessments, and documentation as required
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student access to educational environments and activities
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual student needs
  • Engage in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting and progress reporting
  • Provide resources, education, and training to staff and families to ensure carryover and understanding
