Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- ASHA certification (or eligibility), including Clinical Fellowship (CFY) candidates
- Current state licensure (or ability to obtain)
- Experience in K-12 school environments or pediatric settings preferred
- Skilled in conducting assessments, IEP development, and therapy planning
- Comfortable with both onsite and, if needed, teletherapy services
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy to students in group and individual settings
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports
- Consult with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to facilitate student success
- Utilize teletherapy platforms as needed to deliver effective services
- Participate in school meetings and contribute to developing best practices
