Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Elmer, New Jersey

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• ASHA certification (or eligibility), including Clinical Fellowship (CFY) candidates
• Current state licensure (or ability to obtain)
• Experience in K-12 school environments or pediatric settings preferred
• Skilled in conducting assessments, IEP development, and therapy planning
• Comfortable with both onsite and, if needed, teletherapy services
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide direct therapy to students in group and individual settings
• Maintain accurate records and progress reports
• Consult with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to facilitate student success
• Utilize teletherapy platforms as needed to deliver effective services
• Participate in school meetings and contribute to developing best practices
