Make a meaningful difference in the educational journey of students by supporting speech and language development across multiple school settings. This contract opportunity is ideal for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) seeking to serve diverse caseloads ranging from preschool through 8th grade. You’ll provide both in-person and virtual services, focusing on assessment, intervention, and communication support within a collaborative school-based environment.
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid SLP licensure and ASHA CCC required
- School-based SLP experience preferred; open to SLPAs for in-person roles
- Ability to manage varied caseloads: virtual positions average 40-45 students; in-person roles up to 65-70 students
- Comfortable collaborating with school staff and families
- Strong organizational skills and adaptability to multiple sites (one 5-8th grade public school, several private schools, preschool through 8th grade)
- Experience with AAC devices helpful but not required (minimal AAC usage expected)
- Open to bilingual SLPs though not required
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language services, including evaluations, direct therapy, and progress monitoring
- Deliver services both in person and virtually, depending on the assignment
- Maintain documentation and IEP records meeting school and state requirements
- Participate in team meetings and communicate regularly with teachers, families, and administrators
- Adapt therapy techniques to individual student needs and educational settings
- Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards in all professional activities
