Registered Respiratory Therapist - Evanston, IL

Bachelor's degree, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiation Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule/Hours:

• 13-week contract assignment
• Night shift: 7:00pm – 7:00am
• Rotated weekends

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Experience in neonatal and pediatric intensive care units (NICU and PICU) is essential
• Current certifications in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Strong ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and communicate effectively
• Able to adapt swiftly to changing situations within a dynamic hospital setting

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized respiratory support and interventions to neonatal and pediatric patients in intensive care settings
• Assess patient conditions and develop tailored respiratory care plans in collaboration with physicians and nursing staff
• Monitor and optimize ventilator settings and perform airway management procedures as needed
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation for each patient encounter
• Participate in care rounds and contribute respiratory expertise in multidisciplinary team discussions
• Execute emergency interventions as necessary and assist with resuscitation protocols
• Uphold all clinical standards and hospital policies to ensure optimal patient safety and care quality

$2,200 - $2,319/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
