This full-time position runs from late August through early June, providing essential instruction and services to students with varied needs in a resource room setting.

You’ll work with a diverse caseload of up to 22 students across multiple grade levels, delivering instruction tailored to each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP). Collaboration is a key part of this position—cooperating with general educators, related service providers, and families to support students’ academic, behavioral, and social growth.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Current, valid Minnesota teaching license
  • Experience working with elementary-age students with emotional and behavioral disorders
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
  • Skilled at adapting instruction to meet individual needs and IEP goals

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct instruction and support to elementary students in a resource room setting
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in partnership with IEP teams
  • Work collaboratively with general education teachers and related service staff
  • Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Support students across multiple grades throughout the full academic year
