Job Description
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A pharmacy technician is needed to support daily operations at a pharmacy site in Texas. The role requires previous experience working with the employer and holds a valid Texas Pharmacy Technician license. This position follows a per diem schedule, offering consistent daytime shifts to fit your availability.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (9 hours per day)
- Additional shifts the following Monday and Tuesday at the same times
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately distribute prescribed medications to patients according to physician orders
- Provide customers with clear and helpful information regarding medication use
- Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure a positive patient experience
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Texas Pharmacy Technician license is mandatory
- Previous experience with the specific employer strongly preferred
- Background in retail or long-term care pharmacy environments is highly desirable
