School Psychologist - Ringgold, Virginia

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
• Valid and current School Psychologist credential
• Experience in a school setting (preferred, but not required)
• Strong assessment, evaluation, and counseling skills
• Ability to work onsite and engage with students, staff, and families in person
• Excellent communication, consultation, and collaboration abilities
• Familiarity with state and federal special education laws and regulations

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to support special education eligibility and intervention planning
• Provide individual and group counseling to students as needed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor IEPs and 504 Plans
• Offer consultative support to teachers, staff, and parents regarding student learning and behavior
• Contribute to the development of behavioral intervention plans and crisis response protocols
• Facilitate social-emotional learning initiatives within the school
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
