This full-time position is designed to cover a leave of absence from September 8 to December 18, working with a high school caseload at a single school site. The role offers the chance to collaborate with a fellow full-time SLP and truly make a difference.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Active SLP license and Illinois certification required
  • CCC or CFY applicants welcome
  • Experience in school settings or pediatric populations preferred
  • Ability to complete evaluations, maintain detailed documentation, and collaborate with staff and families
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy for a caseload of 50 high school students (4 for consult only)
  • Conduct a total of 7 evaluations during the assignment
  • Develop and implement IEP goals in partnership with educational teams
  • Monitor progress, adjust strategies as needed, and maintain timely records
  • Participate actively in staff meetings, IEP meetings, and collaborative planning
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other professionals
