Job Description
This travel opportunity is for a Pharmacist specializing in Long Term Care pharmacy within a specialty pharmacy setting. Based in Waseca, MN, this role offers a flexible schedule with 20-30 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, including some weekends. The assignment duration is 13+ weeks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and dispense medications accurately within the long term care pharmacy setting
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal pharmaceutical care for long-term care patients
- Provide counseling and guidance to patients regarding their medications
- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and company policies
- Participate in medication therapy management and other clinical services as needed
Desired Qualifications:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree or MTM certification preferred
- Immunization certification required
- CPR certification required
- Experience in long term care pharmacy settings strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills

- Waseca, MN, with potential travel flexibility within the Minneapolis metropolitan area
