Key Qualifications:
- Current, valid Arizona Special Education teaching certificate
- (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card (AZ IVP FPCC)
- Experience working with preschool children or early childhood programs preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with staff, students, and families
- Commitment to differentiation, inclusivity, and positive behavioral approaches
Primary Responsibilities:
- Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s specific goals and needs
- Deliver instruction in both small group and one-on-one settings, adapting materials as needed
- Utilize assessments and data to monitor progress, adjusting strategies as students grow
- Foster a nurturing, engaging classroom atmosphere that promotes curiosity and confidence
- Collaborate with other educators, therapists, and family members to support student success
- Document student progress and communicate effectively with all stakeholders
