Job Description

This full-time, onsite role provides specialized instruction to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder as part of a dedicated special education team. You’ll work closely with colleagues and contribute to meaningful student progress while maintaining strong documentation and classroom management practices.
What You’ll Need:
- Active Georgia Special Education Teacher Certification
- Demonstrated experience in a school-based special education setting preferred
- Strong ability to collaborate with general education staff, support IEP implementation, and create a positive learning environment
- Exceptional organization and documentation skills
- Full-time, Monday–Friday availability for the duration of the school year (37.5 hours/week)
- Reliable transportation
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, adapt, and implement individualized educational programs for students with special needs
- Deliver instruction and classroom support to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers to promote student engagement and success
- Track progress and maintain thorough documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
- Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom atmosphere
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and ongoing communication with families and team members
