Special Education Teacher - Evans, GA

This full-time, onsite role provides specialized instruction to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder as part of a dedicated special education team. You’ll work closely with colleagues and contribute to meaningful student progress while maintaining strong documentation and classroom management practices.

What You’ll Need:

• Active Georgia Special Education Teacher Certification
• Demonstrated experience in a school-based special education setting preferred
• Strong ability to collaborate with general education staff, support IEP implementation, and create a positive learning environment
• Exceptional organization and documentation skills
• Full-time, Monday–Friday availability for the duration of the school year (37.5 hours/week)
• Reliable transportation

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, adapt, and implement individualized educational programs for students with special needs
• Deliver instruction and classroom support to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers to promote student engagement and success
• Track progress and maintain thorough documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
• Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom atmosphere
• Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and ongoing communication with families and team members
