This full-time, in-person contract position is perfect for a Speech-Language Pathologist with a passion for making a difference in pediatrics and school-based settings. Serving students primarily in their general education environments, you will split your time between two buildings, collaborating closely with teachers, staff, and families to empower learners of all abilities.
As part of a strong and experienced SLP team, you’ll benefit from monthly Professional Learning Team (PLT) meetings—a supportive environment for sharing insights, resources, and professional growth. The schedule runs from 7:45 am to 3:15 pm, allowing for a healthy work-life balance and consistency throughout the school year.
Qualifications:
- Hold ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or be completing CFY
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric and school-based SLP services
- Adept at collaborating in multi-disciplinary teams
- Skilled in assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring for K-12 students
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Must be eligible to work as a W2 employee
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students within their home schools
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Document progress and communicate outcomes with families and faculty
- Consult with teachers to integrate communication strategies within general education classrooms
- Contribute actively during monthly PLT meetings
