This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Speech-Language Pathology Assistant eager to work closely with a diverse caseload in a structured, on-site environment. Key Qualifications:
- Active FL DOH SLPA licensure required
- At least 2 years of experience as an SLPA, including a minimum of 6 months in a school-based setting
- Familiarity with Florida credentialing processes; ability to complete or verify fingerprints via the AHCA Clearinghouse
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to on-site work, as remote options (VOCO) are not available
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language services to students as part of a traditional caseload
- Provide ongoing support, documentation, and communication with supervising SLP and multidisciplinary staff
- Contribute to the creation and monitoring of student progress reports and IEP goals
- Engage professionally with educators and parents to foster student achievement
- Adhere to all policies regarding student privacy, compliance, and credentialing (including prompt processing of JLA badge, if required)
