Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Minnesota School Psychologist license (required for consideration)
- Previous experience in school psychology or similar educational settings
- Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills
- Ability to conduct student assessments and interpret data effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Responsibilities:
- Provide in-person psychological assessments, interventions, and consultations for students
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to address students’ academic and socio-emotional needs
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) as needed and contribute to related meetings
- Deliver crisis intervention and counseling support as appropriate
- Support the implementation of evidence-based behavioral and mental health strategies
- Serve as a liaison between school staff, families, and community resources
Additional Details:
- Onsite role for the 2026-2027 school year (anticipated start: August 25, 2026; end: June 10, 2027)
- Approximately 15 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with specific school site(s) to be determined
- Candidates with School Social Worker credentials may be considered if onsite presence is preferred
