This engaging opportunity offers a full-time, contract position for the 2026 fall semester, covering two consecutive maternity leaves within the district. You’ll work collaboratively with educators, administrators, and families to foster positive outcomes for learners—both in and out of the classroom.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Minnesota School Psychologist certification or licensure required
- Demonstrated experience with IEP goal development and implementation
- Proficiency in Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and crafting Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSP)
- In-depth knowledge of state and federal regulations concerning special education
- Strong communication and consultation skills with multidisciplinary teams
Essential Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive psychological services, including student evaluations, consultations, and direct interventions
- Participate actively in IEP team meetings, supporting and advising on IEP and PBSP development
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments to inform effective interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote student success and well-being
- Maintain compliance with all applicable special education statutes, codes, and policies
- Serve as a key advocate for students, ensuring individualized support plans are implemented consistently
